Search & Data Team Apprentice (Business Admin)

The post

The successful applicant with be expected to perform general administrative duties and provide assistance to the Search Team as required. A willingness to learn and developing new skills are essential for this post. Full training will be given to ensure the candidate develops a clear understanding of how Search Engine Optimisation works effectively to create a successful on-line marketing strategy for businesses.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Collect post from reception
  • Receive and direct visitors
  • Check Manager’s calendars for daily meetings
  • Set up meeting rooms where applicable
  • Learn on-line meeting room system to book rooms when requested
  • Obtain information from the computer using Microsoft Office and supporting software systems
  • Answer, screen and transfer telephone calls
  • Photocopy and print documents
  • Keep accurate records, developing new systems where necessary to ensure appropriate records
  • Maintain and order stationery
  • Assist office staff where necessary
  • Undertake any other tasks/duties as may be reasonably required
  • Undertaking data entry work – this will include setting up profiles for clients onto various platforms including Google My Business
  • Working with spreadsheets
  • Creating reports using gathered data from software platforms such as Google Analytics, Adwords, Search Console etc.
  • Online research
